Q & Chelsea Sarhan | Wedding Photography
This gracious couple, Q and Chelsea, gifted me with my first wedding photography experience on August 16, 2014. Chelsea came across my work after having a chat with her cousin, Courtney - my best friend. Chelsea shared that she was on the hunt for a wedding photographer, and Courtney sent Chelsea my way!
Q and Chelsea were wonderful to work with in the weeks leading up to the wedding. They were patient, encouraging, and truly loving as I asked (numerous) questions in preparation. I am convinced that the Sarhan's had more confidence in my ability to photograph their wedding than I did!
Q and Chelsea chose a breath-taking location in Front Royal, VA to host their ceremony and reception. I highly recommend visiting this area if you enjoy soaking up mountainous views and beautiful weather.
You should know that the beautiful bride handmade all of her decorations. As a photographer, I immensely appreciate the patient diligence and determination that Chelsea exercised while creating this rustic decor.
Q and Chelsea were both able to get dressed on location. This is a photographer's dream because it enabled me to snap some detail shots of the bridal party's attire, bride getting ready, AND groom getting ready before the ceremony.
Q and Chelsea chose to keep their ceremony simple and elegant.
After some quick family photos, we hopped over to the reception hall to celebrate with some fun, food, and dancing!
Q's family is from Jordan, and they enhanced the reception with Jordanian traditions. His family provided a delicious lamb roast to share with all of the guests and displayed an upbeat Jordanian dance!
Q added an additional custom touch to the reception by baking AND decorating the wedding cakes!
Having the chance to meet and photograph this sweet couple was a real gift. I am so grateful that Q and Chelsea trusted me with the honor of snapping their wedding photos!
